Emergency response
We respond to fires, rescues, road incidents and other emergencies across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Incident command
The first priority is to protect life and establish safe, effective command of the incident. Officers assess the situation, set priorities and coordinate crews and specialist resources.
Working with other services
Fire and rescue crews work with police, ambulance and other public services where an incident requires a joint response.
Operational learning
Incidents are recorded and reviewed so the Service can identify learning, improve procedures and maintain readiness.
