People joining the Service receive induction and role-specific learning. Continuing learning and assessment support safe practice, professional development and readiness for the responsibilities of each role.
Working together
Firefighters, Fire Control and support teams have distinct responsibilities but work as one Service. Clear command, communication, safeguarding and professional standards apply across the organisation.
